Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026.
This policy explains what personal data is collected on this site, why, for how long it's kept, and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data controller
EI Webest Riviera (Entreprise Individuelle), company registration (SIRET) 894 056 209 00014, 82 Boulevard du Président Wilson, 06160 Antibes, France — contact@webestriviera.fr.
Data collected
This site collects personal data through a single channel: the contact form. It gathers your name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), an indicative budget, and the content of your message. No other data is collected on the site: no user accounts, no browsing tracking, no profiling.
Purpose and legal basis
This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential project with you. Processing is based on your consent, given explicitly when submitting the form (a dedicated checkbox), and secondarily on Webest Riviera's legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to it.
Data recipients
Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. It is, however, passed to one technical provider strictly necessary to deliver your message:
- Resend (Resend, Inc.), our transactional email provider, responsible for relaying the contact form's content by email to our inbox. Resend acts as a data processor under the GDPR and uses this data for no other purpose.
Data transfers outside the European Union
Resend, Inc. is based in the United States. Sending a message through the contact form therefore involves a transfer of your data (name, email, message content) outside the European Union. This transfer is governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which Resend incorporates into its terms of service and data processing agreement, providing appropriate safeguards under Article 46 of the GDPR.
Retention period
Data submitted via the contact form is kept for a maximum of 3 years from our last exchange, then deleted or anonymised.
Security
The entire site is served over HTTPS. The contact form is processed by a script hosted directly on our own infrastructure, with no database or intermediate storage of your messages: they are relayed by email immediately and are not kept on the site's server.
Cookies and trackers
This site does not set any cookies — advertising, analytics, or even purely technical. No web analytics tool (such as Google Analytics) and no advertising tracking pixel is used.
Hosting technical logs
Like any web host, our hosting provider (OVH SAS) keeps technical connection logs (IP address, date and time of the request, page visited) for security and service-reliability purposes. These logs are not used by Webest Riviera and are governed by OVH SAS's own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to define directives on what happens to it after your death. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@webestriviera.fr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — in France, the CNIL (cnil.fr) — if you believe your rights are not being respected.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to applicable law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
